Frequently Asked Questions

Is INK open to the public, or just educators?

Yes, we are open to the public. Adults must accompany children within the exhibits.  Admission is $9 per person for anyone over the age of 2 years old.

What are INK's hours of operation?
We are currently offering 2-hour play blocks to allow for social distancing and extra sanitizing between play blocks.

We are open Sunday 12:30pm-2:30pm and 3pm-5pm, and Monday-Saturday 10am-12pm, 12:30pm-2:30pm, and 3pm-5pm.

What if I arrive after my block?

Your play block either begins at 10am, 12:30pm or 3pm. You have two hours within the play block to play. If you arrive late, you only have the remaining time to play until the play block closes. The entire museum is evacuated at 12:00pm, 2:30pm, and 3pm. Rentry is not permitted unless you are an INK member. Members must still leave the museum in order for us to properly clean between each play block. This is part of our cleanliness protocol to ensure everyone has a good experience. To become a member on the same day as your visit, you will need to show your receipt and proof of purchase

Are you open on holidays?

We are closed on Easter Sunday, Memorial Day, July 4th, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

What is the cost of admission?
$9 per person including tax for all ages 2 - 102. Children under the age of two are free.  Your admission is good for a 2-hour time block.

Do I pay admission since I am a parent and won't be playing?
Yes! We believe everyone is a child at heart and we encourage you to make memories playing with your child while at INK. We charge $9 per person including tax for all ages 2 - 102. Your admission is good for a 2-hour time block.

Do you offer discounts?
We offer group rates with 24-hour advanced reservations.

INK reserves the right to inspect large coolers and bags.

What should we wear during our visit to INK?
Allow your children to wear comfortable clothes. They will be very active in the Museum. Shoes with socks are preferred.

Can I drop off my child(ren), and pick them up in a few hours?
No, our Museum is designed to provide a wonderful learning experience where parents/teachers play together with children. Children must be accompanied, at all times, by someone at least 18 years old.

I don't have children, but would love to visit INK...is this allowed?
Adults are NOT allowed to enter the museum without children. If you are interested in touring the museum, we will be happy to schedule a brief tour. Tours are subject to staff availability. We recommend calling and making advanced arrangements.
